Argento dvd easter eggs

Here is a list of the known DVD Easter Eggs (hidden features) that are available on Argento DVD's.

PHENOMENA
Dragon Entertainment - Germany

Access The Egg:
On disc 1, go to the Extras menu and then to the Jennifer Connelly biography. Highlight the smiley face at the top of the screen and then press select. You will see a nice picture of Jennifer and a list of related URL's. Go to the second page and highlight that smiley face. You will be treated to some nude pictures of Jennifer. By going to the Dario Argento and Donald Pleasance biographies, you can also highlight smiley faces and get a list of related URL's.

On disc 2, go to the signed PHENOMENA postcard page. Press the down button so that the fly is NOT highlighted. Press the select button and you will be treated to some out takes of Claudio Simonetti whilst recording his piano solo of 'Phenomena' for the disc.

SLEEPLESS
MIA - UK

Access The Egg:
Go to the Special Features menu (on disc 1), and you will see a knife at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down to the main menu option, then click left once to highlight the knife and press enter. This will open up a text screen with a note from Dario Argento, the note spans three text screens in total.

Access The Egg:
Go to the Extra Features menu, click right onto the glass bulb on the peacock's wing. Result? a quick outtake clip of Udo Kier from the documentary interview sessions.

Access The Egg:
Go to the Extra Features menu, click right onto the glass bulb on the peacock's wing. Result? a quick outtake clip of Udo Kier from the documentary interview sessions. This is originally on the US release but this does not contain the documentary it came from thus rendering it rather pointless.

INFERNO
Anchor Bay - US

Access The Egg:
This is not a true egg but the intro is accessed automatically just before the film starts. It lasts approx 30 seconds and is in addition to the Dario Argento interview advertised which lasts approx 8 mins. There is no menu option to access this segment later, the only other way to access it is to switch to the track the segment is on.

THE STENDHAL SYNDROME
Troma - US

Access The Egg:
From the disc's main menu, highlight the Feature Presentation menu entry and then press the arrow Up key on your remote control. This will highlight the razor blade in the background image at the top of the screen. If you press Enter now, you will have the chance to watch an interview with Dario Argento himself.

TWO EVIL EYES
Blue Underground - US

Access The Egg:
Insert the first disc into your DVD player and on the Main menu select the Extras menu entry. On the following screen press the Up arrow key on your remote control to highlight the word Bonus that is part of the background screen. If you press the Enter key now, you will be treated to an interview snippet with Christine Romero, George Romero’s wife.
