The on-line film magazine Kinoeye, a 'fortnightly journal of film in the new Europe', has a special edition posted about Dario titled Assault on the senses - The horror legacy of Dario Argento. Asia in Total Movie & Entertainment magazine
Asia Argento is featured on the cover of the newest issue (August 2002/Issue #9) of "Total Movie & Entertainment" magazine. There is also a six-page article/interview with her in the mag, along with plenty of pictures. Asia will be appearing on the Late Late Show scheduled for Friday August the 2nd.

German BIRD DVD News
Apparently, Polyband will release a cut DVD not because they want to get a certain FSK- or JK-rating, there's just no uncut master in the German language. Even if they'd want to put subs on the missing scenes they wouldn't get an uncut master anyway. The DVD will be approx 5 minutes longer than the old Polyband/Toppic VHS-version but it definitely won't be the international uncut version. Extras on the DVD will be the original trailer.

Two Evil Eyes UK DVD
The Anchor Bay DVD release is presented in 16x9 Widescreen with 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound. The extra features include a photo gallery and biographies/filmographies on George A. Romero and Dario Argento. Release date is 2nd of September.

Well unfortunately, there isn't much. Francesco spoke with Dario this week and apparently shooting should start at the end of September. Asia is still going to play the female lead.

It seems that Bill Lustig's new company, Blue Underground will be releasing this title instead of Anchor Bay. More details when they are available.

As part of the 3rd Melbourne Underground Film Festival from July 11-21 2002, they are showing on closing night (Sunday, July 21) SLEEPLESS. It is a premiere in Australia.
